The Housetrike

Advantages of polyester

 

A lot of attention will go to the appearance of the Housetrike. The user must feel at home in and around his camperbike... so shape, color and material are as important as functionality and durability.

 

The box will be built from polyester. This material is lighter than wood and iron and the manufacturing is much easier and therefore cheaper. In addition polyester is naturally waterproof and maintenance free.

 

The appearance of the Housetrike is inspired by an arc. The corners of the boxes are curved and the nose of the innerbox has the outline of a bow. This shape continues in the roof in the form of a spine.  This organic structure provides a good drainage and makes the lid rigid so it can be used as a working top. In addition the unique body will give the trike its own appearance and personality.

The color will be marine blue. This dark and tranquil color fits the boat theme well and provides good camouflage in the dark. 

 

Second stage

 

The development of the Houstrike in polyester is the second stage of this project (The third will be sales and production). 

The quality of the bike has to be excellent because the Housetrike is all the homeless person possesses. So a lot of attention will go to every detail of the bike and all prototypes will be tested thoroughly both by end-users and developers. 

 

Assistance

 

To make the Houstrike as good as possible extra funds are needed. This not only speeds up progress but will also improve the quality of the Housetrike.  Finding the best solutions for all the little details simply take time and money. Prototypes have to be built and tested thoroughly.  So donations in this stage are veru much welcomed and appreciated.
